Been such a long long time since i last blogged.
I posted an entry in my personal diary though.

CNY 2012 so near so near.
Managed to buy something yesterday. Office wear!
Nah.. I'm kinda good with what i planning to wear on the actual day itself.
Not much effort put in to be honest. But, i'm wearing something that look pretty alright to the eye anyway.

This year 2012, there are some things I plan to achieve.
I'm moving slower to one of them. I think it's appropriate to have it now.

I'm watching some dramas recently. The office ladies dress well, and I would like to try that out too. hahaha sounded kinda silly. I can afford to be silly now anyway. With pretty outfits, of course I would need to slap some powder on my dull looking skin as well.
Look at my make-up kits and you would laugh! So few of them. I've got my bb-cream and lipstick and gel eyeliner from my lady boss. The rest, I got them maybe 1-2 years back. Liquid foundation x 1, concealer x 1. Liquid eyerliner x 2. Face powder x 1. Night powder x 1. The most I wear is the pencil eyeliner. And maybe lip balm. That's all.
What do you call this? A lazy 23-to-be? I just want things to be as natural as it could be. Ha.
Anyway, a change may be good for me, who knows?

I like to layer my clothes in the past. Practically love it! Not so much for now though. Because the more I wear, the more I need to wash, dry, peg and iron. You know, I tend to go for possible and workable shortcuts when I dont really have that much of time to spare. For about 2 weeks, I have tried to wear unironed clothes (to work). Ok, slap me. Haha. Nah, I am really zzz. Come on bum, iron them ... and find somewhere to keep them properly. There's really no space to hang my clothes properly.. ><. I want my own cupboard. All my own. Spacious nice and, well nice.

To make things sound not so nice, the above is simply something materialistic. Yet, it's desired. Ha, I am contradicting myself.

Ok moving on to personal improvements.

I think I should be a little more/less reliant on specific individuals. And be a more emotion-responsive person. I am just like a pool of barely-moving water. Unless you kick the water, it will then start to drench another patch of sand.

I'm not specificially over-reliant on someone. But I could be more independent. Bing pampers me by driving me to places I'm going. Do you call that reliant?

I can take care of myself alright. But this sometimes is not really healthy. The lack of interaction says something about me. Maybe I should just raise a topic or something although I may have already got the so called answer (i.e. my answer). I'll be surprised with what others may be able to share. That's interaction alright!

When I say"can you help me, please", people will offer help.
This help may make people feel good about themselves, that they are able to help (may backfired as well though).
This help may make people realise that I am still hanging around and that I exist.

Being lactose intolerance is kinda a pain in the neck, yet it's not something that unusal.
Having "inherited" the white hair gene is kinda freakous, yet it's not something that deadly.

I acknowledged the not so desirable factors.
I am a guinea pig for the tests that I want to try out.
The experiments are kinda fun actually (though experiments may back-fired too).

I am weird, am i not?
But I am special too. keke

It's Sat it's Sat

Everyone looking to a sat!~

Acne breakout recently.

I have been drinking lemon drink religiously for hmmm.. a week or so..

Detoxing in progress! (yea. that's what im tinking!)

And i have been running..

Qing's my motivator actually. She runs. And her skin improves a lot!

I want my skin to improve too!!!

But you know...7th month coming... so maybe i need to change my plans a little...

Flu loves me and bugs me every single day.

Full impact at night or in the morning.

Sneeze on and off in the noons.

I carry germs. Lots and lots of germs.

It has been about 2 weeks or so.

Is that supposed to be part of the detoxing effects as well?

My school will start 29 April. Fridays and Wednesdays.

Sad.. there goes my Fridays.. :(

Oh well...

I'm taking accounting and economics (international and managerial) this sem.

The managerial economics scares me a little (ok, pretty much actually...)..

Hopefully i can manage them well enough.

You know... at my age, if this kind of tougher topic didn't go well for me, it's not that unacceptable... I've got to be realistic enough to know what im capable of given that im one of the youngest in the class. If i manage to score well, that doesn't mean i know how to apply the knowledge anyway..

Ok nevermind, im thinking too much... haha

I have been learning how to use the systems at work.

New systems!

Build up my portfolio! Yea!

It's kinda frustrating and tiring to be honest... (cos have to figure out how to use... trial and error...pester the "masterminds" to teach me... points out the faults in the systems.. blah blah blah...)

The downside are that these systems are used internally... as in not those generics ones that companies tend to list in their JDs when they post their job openings.

The "upside" is that so long i can adapt and learn fast enough, that prepares me well enough to tackle other systems in the future (does that sound convincing enough?)

Anyway, not that i have a choice. If i dont learn, im out of the game.

People asking me what im doing.

Actually i also dunno how to reply sometimes.

It's either im doing what im supposed and expected to do, the other tasks boss assigned me to do or im clearing my backlogs or im working on existing things to make it more user friendly to me and the list goes on. Like that lor. It keeps me busy enough haha.

So long as the workload is manageable, i am ok.

Moderate stress is healthy enough.

I have been flu-ish a little too often.
I sneeze like crazy at night.
My nose waters like nuts in the morning.
Have been eating cold pills a little too often.
Absolutely not very healthy.

Lemon water!
Let's try drink this everyday. Or every night.
That is supposed to help with the digestion as well.
So, kills two birdies with one stone.
This method is very affordable as well.
I just have to ensure that i follow the plan well enough.

I eat my meals fast.
Too fast for my own good.
I practically gobble my meal. Haha
So so so, here's the plan.
Eat with chopsticks!
The aim is to slow down my chew-fast-swallow-fast-don't-waste-time habit.
Bet no one was aware.
When i was younger i thought meals were a waste of time.
The shorter each meal took, the more free time i would have on hand.
Pretty dumb actually.

My body deserves to be treated well.
If unwell, rest.
If tired, rest.

8pm or 9pm - run
10pm - eat fruits
Chase whatever bad in my body out! Hope i can stick to it hehe.

We spent over an hour there walk walk see see then walk walk again.

Signs on "look out for crocodiles" keep appearing.

I will be taking managerial economics, international economics and financial accounting this time round.
5 credit units each. They sound tough actually. I need luck. Pray the best for me haha

I got a C for 2010 first sem for my moral compass.

It's an interesting course actually, but involved a little too many thoughts to play with.

It's a course that guide one how to make a morally right decision and stand by his decision.

And obviously i am not up to that kind of standard yet.

I deserved a C actually haha. Big Deal

In school,we are to choose electives.

Some of them are easier to score, i heard.

They are just "nice to know" stuffs - dont offer not much applicable skills though.

We only have that x amount of time and that 1000x on our to-do-list.

So it's pretty tempting to go for that kind of easier-to-score course..

But if you were to spend the same time and $ to go for a course with x worth (easier) vs 2x worth (tougher), maybe you will reconsider which course to go. Typical Singaporean - you want to get the best deal!

Didnt really sleep well this week.

Kinda tired.

Im dreaming of that new system. *Intruder! Where's my guards?*

Both are bad actually. I kana tio caught in the second scenerio for now. Urghhss.

Gonna figure it out somehow. Go pester whoever can help me give me advices enlighten me or whatever. Best to tackle this before school starts. I dont fancy my hairs falling off and acne popping up

You know, the ways to tough it out in school and at work is kinda different.

In school you still can find your way out by having sleepless nights to get those assignments done. So long you are tough enough, this is not impossible.

End results - possibly good grades.

At work, well i am unsure. Sleepless nights dont suggest the kind of end results you desire. Now leave it up to your imagination. Not saying more. A cheeky smiling face icon or funny pic will do the trick to erase the problems. Temporary solution.

I sound pretty negative haha.

You get the $ to spend of things you like - food clothes more food and more clothes.

Not being financial tied down is a GREAT thing! :D - 1 positive

You get grilled and fried and toasted and you will see how you manage to survive (or quit). At our age, we dont have much but we have YOUTH! Another GREAT thing! :D - 2 positive

Being able to balance between work and study probably suggest you are tougher than average! Add points to you if you are required to perform additional tasks (e.g. wash your clothes, do charity work and the list go on). Man, i like this idea. Another GREAT thing! - 3 positive.

See? Life is not that kind of un-great afterall, it seems.

Back to last year i got bullied by some evils. I made a decision and went ahead with it.

I made a good decision then. Now i am alright, still. I'm grateful to those who made this happen.

I have been hoping i could do something for my left ear.
Nerve damage when i was young - i couldnt hear properly with it.
A hearing aid isnt gg to help - that's what the doc say.
I saw a hearing device in a magazine - it's fixed to a tooth and i wonder how is that gg to help w the hearing.
Gonna do some research when i got the time on this device!
Or maybe i should pray for a miracle to happen.

I am well aware that some are jeering at my situation back then.
Becos i witnessed it - and i pretended i didnt know.
Back in year 1. I remembered.
And i am glad that you 3 remain as Losers.

Come on grow up! Youth is something that we have now, nothing much more.
I am going to enjoy it :D

Ok that's it. I have submitted my EWS report. Hack care that i have overexceeded the words. Damn.. too tired to work on it. Keep dozing off. This week, oh well im kinda restless. But today was great. Cos i have a fun dream. I dreamt that i was performing a skit in a hall. A funny skit. Pretty dumb, i was practising my fall. Haha.. all it takes is a fun dream to cheer me up. FOC somemore. I feels that i've lost a day.
My Sunday.

Thurs!~
New Year!
Went to both parents' side to bai nian.
Super simple day with minimum relatives' presence.

Fri!~
Went to bing's relatives house.
Their sides were much more lively.
And more exhausting cos' we had to visit many homes

Sat! ~
Went to bing's Da Gu's house for buffet.
Later followed his parents to MBS - his mum booked a room there
Great bathroom! Except there's no lock to the toilet and bathroom
With Bing mum's permission, i brought the 38s over and Bing brought weiming along.
We played some kiddy games and card games.

We planned to stay overnight at wm's place
That's when i suddenly fell sick
My gastric pain started acting up.

I took those mini pills that are supposed to help with indigestion
When we reached Bing's home -
1) Grab my hair into a bun
2) Aim well into the toilet bowl
3) Puke!~

Bad. Real bad.

Bing gave me a Chinese medicine to drink.
The smell of it is enough to make me nausea.
It's an instant reaction.
I closed my mouth and start to puke.

Bing panicked like crazy.
He's worried that i would soil his bed.
Ahhh!~

I threw up in his rubbish bin.
And he cleared the mess.

Shiver. Shiver.
I had a fever.
Not that high. 38 degree.
But that's enough to make me tremble.

In the end, Bing had to went to wm house and sent the 38s home.
I had with me his pillow and blanket.
I had difficulty breathing.
It's pretty bad.

I tried to tell Bing
Don't make me talk
Cos i felt very uncomfortable when i started to talk

Bing thought i told him to keep his mouth shut
and don't make noise
switch off the radio
O man~ when did i become so mean?? Haha

Sun ~
Have difficulty standing upright.
I hunched back, cos' my gastric hurt.
My legs threatened to give way too.
I slept the whole day.
When my fever's gone, i was happy cos' i thought i have recovered.
But when my fever returned, awww.. sufferings again... T.T
Mum boiled some ginger with black sugar for me to drink.
I ended throwing up again.
It doesn't taste bad actually.
Just that my body was crying that it's not in the mood for it.

Bing and mummy woke me up randomly to get me to have my meals and medicines.
I completely lost track of the medicine that I'm supposed to take.
I felt like an old lady, aching all over.
That's very unlike of me, cos' i don't normally rely on others to have my medications.
Well, once in a while, let's enjoy people taking care of me hehe~
Bing so sweet, constantly staying at my side and chatting with my parents.
My sugary bing! <3

Mon~
Adequate strength for me to lift myself up!
No more vomitting.
It's diarrhoea-ing time!
Good for a change actually.
Cos constantly throwing up was a bit too taxing for me.

The watery stools smelt real bad.
Enough for me to give up reading the papers that i brought along.

It's good that i visited the doctor today (my family clinic just opened today)
I would have been too sick to visit doc before today.

Wonder if my skin and hair had gone bad.
I did not follow my daily skincare and haircare routine.
My aim was just to get as much rest as possible - take a quick shower and wash my face with soap and that's it.

Mum's cooking something great in the kitchen.
I smelt chicken wing!!~
Drool~
Yea, just see and drool.
My tummy is not supposed to hold this greasy meat.

Messy Dreams

夜。

I over-dreamt today.
Lot and lots of messy dreams, which kinda irritated me.

The best part?
I dreamed of mentoring friends.
I saw loo, ada and youwei's face clearly.
Qing was there. I could feel her presence.
Horny ah jia? Ermm... she was not there.
My sensors failed to sense her presence.
Maybe if i continued to sleep on late she would turn up in my dream.
Cos she's hardly on time! haha

We were buying milk tea initially
But ended up having chocolate cake.
Hm.. y did i dream of such a dream?
Couldn't we have both the choco and the milk tea?!

The dream went on and on and on.
I dreamt that one of the neighbours was brushing her hand against my neck in the bus.
And i was pissed!
Damn, i scolded her for sure.
But something was wrong.
We alighted the bus
And then she suddenly became a saleperson
Trying to sell off something in her recycling bag.
And her younger sis was with her..
She looked .. sick.. like not in the right frame of mind those kinds.
Chills. What's that dream for?

I dreamt that I was sick.
And bing drove me to a clinic.
When we passed by one the shops
I saw A.S - a new hire who's coming in this month
He was selling handphone. The shop was white. He looked white.
Man his skin looked great... tiong tiong tiong skin!
I waved at him and he waved back.

Later in the clinic.
Bing was no longer with me.
Hey dummy where were you?
Mum was with me though.
Yea... Bing transformed and became my mom.
For goodness sake..

Just back from gym.
Stupid fat cat was late for a whole 45 min!

This year!
I have an additional responsibility.
Ok, no complaints.
After all, it's time that i contribute my fair share anyway.

I'll go back to scrimp again then.

Just go for the original one. $1.60
And more to go.
The money has better use.
I've got the milk anyway, so
no complaints (i'll try!! :))

I need to get
fitter (a fit body looks the best!)
stronger (mentally and physically!)
tougher (like super mega mario!)
smarter (come on feed me pig brain! :p)
prettier ( yea, as in the skin to look great!)
better ( patient, understanding, open-minded and so on!)

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil; without saying a word.

In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl. Turning to her daughter, she asked, ‘ Tell me what you see.’

‘Carrots, eggs, and coffee,’ she replied.

Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg.

Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, ‘What does it mean , mother?’

Each of these objects had faced the same adversity: boiling water. Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.

‘Which are you?’ she asked her daughter. ’When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?

Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff ? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?

Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you. When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

Saw 王力宏 on Friday. He's coming to promote his movie.

A very good looking dude.
His face looks real smooth.

And there he is, munching popcorns and answering DJ Mary's questions.

He watched the movie with us all in the same theatre, but left some time later
(I didnt manage to catch him leaving ya, was seated at the front)

Apparently his suave seem to attract both ladies and gents.
The dudes moved to sit close to him.. ermm...ok.. haha zz

Movie. Orientation

Fri:
Went for a movie with Bing at Vivo - despicable me
I was on my way to the basin to wash off the saliva that Bing showered on my face
and i had to walk past this bunch of girls. They were going to St James, i think.
Almost all were in short skirt and busily slapping more more more makeup on their faces.
O man. When i rose my head and i saw their faces under the bright light...
Eeks. Far too thick.
They looked tired, and the thick makeup made them looked worse.

One word. Shocking.
Maybe they would look gorgeous under the dim light later?

Sat:
Nose leaking.
Half a flu pill worked wonders
But i ended up having a headache instead.

Went to Unsim Orientation today.

My bus journey, it's kinda er...oops?

Need to go back and collect it some other day...

Been tired~

11 June 2010 marked Bing and Sing's first year anniversary.
I received a cake and a bouquet of pink roses from Bing.

He got me mad the day before, so i didnt prepare for him anything.
Cos in the tele-conversation he seem to care about the world cup more than me.
He was planning a surprise for me actually.
Apparently, it backfired.

I will make up for it de. :x

We celebrated Qing's 21st on Sat.
It's a mini picnic at the marina barrage.
Qing wrote her wishes on the "bat man" kite.
It's a sweet way of expressing her thoughts.

I had locked myself out of my phone becos of the PUK code issue.
Omg.
And i went to Singtel and hello! shops to try to solve the problem.
They gave me different advices and instructions.
Theirs instructions were so contradicting!
Double omg.
What sort of customer service is that suppose to be?

Singtel shop at Khatib for some reason was not opened though its operating hours start from 11.30pm. So i went to the Hello! shop in woodlands to ask for their help.

The lady at the information counter look so sian and told me that i had to bring my dad down cos' i needed his authorisation before i could do anything. When i asked if there's any other way to rectify the problem, she said no there's no other way.

I went back to the Singtel shop in Khatib and their shop was opened finally. The uncle advised me to take my phone to the Hello! shop and ask for a change of sim card. He said that since it's a first time change of sim card, they could waive off the charges. It could be done only at the Hello! shop at no charges. When i further enquired if I could bring along an authorisation letter and my dad's ic instead of getting him down physically to authorise anything, he said that i could do that.

I went back to the Hello! shop later at night. The lady who i approached earlier in the morning looked more sian. Her other colleague attended to me. I asked for a change of sim card and i was told that i needed to pay $18 plus. She informed that if it was a lost of sim card, they could provide the card for free. I didnt lost my sim card. I just got locked out of my phone becos of the puk code issue.

It's kinda funny.
I was locked out of my phone becos of my ignorance. I was not aware that i had to call my service provider to ask for the code. And becos of that i was "punished" and had to pay $18 plus for a sim card replacement.

On the other hand, if i lost my sim card, they could provide me a sim card at no charges if it's a first time loss. Becos of my carelessness, i could be given a card at no cost.

I mean, i dont find it logical. It's weird.
Everyone is giving me a different instruction though they are working for the same service provider.

There's no network coverage now, and the lady at the information counter in Hello! shop told me that it will take one working day for my new sim card to be activated.

They better mean their words this time. I'm tired of going here and there to get this thing solved.
